The following lecturers have confirmed their contirbution to the next HRSMC School on "Modern Developments in Spectroscopy" (TULIP 2012, Noordwijk The Nethlerands, April 10-13, 2012): Stefan Hell (MPI BPC), Anne L`Huillier (Lund University, Sweden), Kobus Kuipers (AMOLF, The Netherlands), Frederic Merkt (ETH Zürich, Switzerland), Henrik Stapelfeldt (Aarhus University, Denmark), Mattanjah de Vries (UCSB, USA).
Scientific programme
Highly qualified scientists will present introductory and specialized lectures on various topics in the field of spectroscopic and dynamical studies of molecular systems. The topics range from frequency resolved spectroscopic studies of gaseous biomolecules, time-resolved studies in chemical and biological systems, dynamics in proteins and membranes, photodissociation dynamics, dynamics and control in femtochemistry, and molecular nanophotonics. Each lecturer will present a 4 hour course. In addition to the courses participants are encouraged to present their own research during the school (see Call for Abstracts). Short contributed talks will be selected from the submitted abstracts. The other contributed papers will be presented in the poster session. Details will follow. Participants are expected to arrive on Tuesday April 10, 2012 before 11.00, after which a lunch will be provided. The scientific programme will start on Tuesday afternoon, April 10, and will end on Friday, April 13, at 14.00 after lunch.
More information on the lecturers can be found on their homepages (see below)
