It is a great pleasure to invite you to our Summer School on 'Modern Developments in Spectroscopy'. This school is organized under the auspices of the European Science Foundation within the framework of the SILMI programme, and the Holland Research School of Molecular Chemistry (HRSMC). The school follows the format of previous schools, Tulip1, Tulip2 and Tulip3 and Tulip4 organized in the spring of 2001, 2003, 2006 and 2009 (see links below) The target audience are PhD students and Postdocs. During the Tulip school the participants will receive high-level lectures in state-of-the-art developments in gas- and condensed-phase spectroscopy by six internationally renowned specialists. The Tulip School offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your perspective to nearby scientific (and tulip!) fields which can be of interest to potential Postdocs for selecting new scientific directions. This advanced school will be held in Hotel "De Witte Raaf" in Noordwijk, a village close to the North Sea and a half hour travel from Amsterdam. All participants will be accommodated in the same hotel in a friendly and informal environment stimulating interaction between lecturers and participants.

We hope you are interested and we look forward to seeing you in Noordwijk.
