Write it right

WiR workshops are intended for PhD students, postdocs and other researchers, who already have some results and wish to make the most of them. Don't be put off by thinking you need some earth-shattering new research. Something is enough!

Offers its members discount on courses and workshops regarding job application, career planning and management skills (e.g. time management). 

ElroyCOM

Specialises in training and personal coaching for scientists, in communication and management.

Hertz, trainingen voor wetenschappers

The Hertz center offers training for scientists.  Brigitte Hertz cooperates with VU University Amsterdam and organises a special training for firstyear PhD students.

Leiden University

Offers several courses for PhD's, such as a two-day research management training for first and second year PhD students. A special department provides career planning advice for university employees.

University of Amsterdam

PhD students and employees of the University of Amsterdam have several options in training and support:
