On 18th September, Yiwen Tang, CSC fellow in the Heterogeneous Catalysis and Sustainable Chemistry group has successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled Metal-organic frameworks and their composites for water-alcohol separations. Besides providing synthetic strategies for the design of water stable MOFs, the thesis also discusses new approaches to process MOFs for industrial separations.
