Programme HRSMC Introduction Activity for first and second year PhD students 2013
This meeting is organized especially for first year and second year PhD members, but also for every one who is not yet familiar with the HRSMC. During this meeting we will inform you about the education (courses) that we organize, our creditpoint administration and certificate and briefly introduce you to the various research themes that are part of our school. This meeting is also intended as a way to extend your (in)formal network, which may be of help to you while working on your thesis (and afterwards). Read more for the Programma. HRSMC Course Molecular Modeling, May 13-17 and May 21-24, 2013
How experimentalists can use computational chemistry methods in their research.
Register before April 1, 2013.
The goal of this two-weeks course is to get acquainted with state-of-the-art quantum chemical methods and computer software using the Amsterdam Density Functional program.
Hands-on experience will be provided with the ADF program by working through a number of assignments.
