The Holland Research School of Molecular Chemistry (HRSMC, a cooperation between the Chemistry Departments of the University of Amsterdam, Leiden University, the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Radboud University) will organize its 6th Lustrum Symposium (30-years) on November 14 and 15, 2024. This special event will take place at the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) in Amsterdam. We have found the following five prominent foreign researchers willing to give a lecture:
- Prof. Morten P. Meldal (University of Copenhagen, Denmark)
- Prof. Burkhard König (Universitaet Regensburg, Germany)
- Prof. Richard Friend (University of Cambridge, UK)
- Prof. Hans Jakob Wörner (ETH Zürich, Switzerland)
- Prof. Kendall N. Houk (University of California, CA)
Furthermore there will be lectures of the Dick Stufkens Prize Winner 2024, three HRSMC staff members and 8 HRSMC PhD students/postdocs. The other PhD students/postdocs will present their work during poster sessions.
This day is ideal opportunity to get familiar and become updated on the research that is carried out within our school and of course also a good location for networking!
On Friday afternoon a social event is organized, by our PhD Platform, for all HRSMC PhD students and Postdocs and also for the Class of Excellence Students.
