HRSMC Symposium 2023

We are organizing our annual symposium on Friday November 10, 2023, at Scheltema in Leiden. This day is an ideal opportunity to get familiar and become updated on the research that is carried out within our school and of course also a good location for networking!

During this day we will have an inspiring lecture of our guest lecturer Prof. dr. N.H. (Nathalie) Katsonis (University of Groningen) and there will be lectures of three HRSMC staff members:

  • Prof. dr. ing. T. (Timothy) Noël (University of Amsterdam) – Theme 1
  • Prof. dr. L.J.C. (Lars) Jeuken (Leiden University) – Theme 2
  • Dr. T.A. (Trevor) Hamlin (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) – Theme 3

In addition, there will be lectures of 5 PhD students/postdocs and they will present their work during poster sessions. And, of course, there will be a lecture of the Dick Stufkens Prize Winner of 2023! 

After the symposium we will have a diner at Scheltema for staff members, members of the PhD platform and Class of Excellence students.
